Anthony Perniciaro was a Sicilian-American painter-poet; born in 1917 in Brooklyn, New York and passed away in Boulder, Colorado in 2004. He was a prolific self-taught artist who grew up in poverty during The Great Depression. His work has been described as outsider art and is heavily influenced by his life as a laborer. Much of his work is also focused on social commentary. His book, Tony "The Bricklayer" Poem-Paintings was published by Delacorte Press in 1972. His work has been shown across the United States in various galleries and exhibitions.

Very good vintage condition with some waviness to the print.
