Rare Early Raymor Spiral Brass Wire Lamp with Fiberglass Shade

395.00

Spiral brass plated wire lamp with original fiberglass inner shade sitting on three hairpin legs.

Distributed by Raymor as indicated on the label.

This lamp is pictured in one of the Arts & Architecture magazines at an exhibition alongside some other hard-to-find lamps of the day. I had the image at one time and haven't been able to locate. Designer is unknown.

The metal does have oxidation and could use a good polish if desired but I have left it as-found for fear of damaging the shade. The inner shade does have some dented areas but no tears or holes.

The lamp has it's original wiring and is in good working order. Overall good vintage condition for a 60-year old lamp.

Measures 11-1/4" high, 6-1/2" diameter.
