Boris Tabacoff Lucite Sphere Chair with White Leather Cushion

This is an amazing space-age modern occasional or desk chair design by French designer Boris Tabacoff in 1971. The shell is made of a brownish tone smoke lucite or acrylic on a chrome plated metal base. These are very rare to market, especially in the United States. This chair is in excellent condition with only very light wear. The cushion was made based on vintage pictures of the chair using white leather and cutting the egg-shaped cushion out of a block of foam.
